Chocolate and Chores ~ a “single” mommy’s blog is the product of a late night need to write. As the wife of an over-the-road truck driver, I live my life mostly as a single mother (only seeing my husband one or two nights a month). Writing has always been an outlet for me, though mostly in private diaries. I thought it was high time to share my thoughts with the world.

I tend to be very open and blunt. I tell it like it is, whether you like to hear it or not (but I hope you do)! And, even though no one has discovered why this happens with every conversation I have (both on and offline), 99.99999% of my interactions with others end up being very personal – think sex, medical problems, deep down emotions, etc.

While I am in no way an expert in any field, I do know enough about a lot of things to be able to answer questions and inquiries. If I don’t know the answer, I research until I can find a good one. Most knowledgeable subjects? Mommy-ing, anything sex related, homemaking, remaining positive in the most negative situations. Oh! And baking. After all, I went to school for it!
